Thankful Chain
I always love November.
I love slowing down and really taking the time to focus on thankfulness. It’s easy to let this fall to the wayside during the busy days and weeks, especially when you’re homeschooling and going to kids’ activities and just doing life.
Every Thursday in November we make thankfulness part of our school focus. To make it a little more fun this year, we’ve started a Thankfulness Chain.
The kids can do as many links as they want (as long as my printer doesn’t poop out on me for it). We print colored or blank strips to cut out and link together, writing down what we’re thankful for. It can be anything! We’ve written down “pumpkin muffins” and “family” and “sunny days.” Sometimes it’s the little things that just add up more and more to remind us how blessed we really are.
